The immediate past Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Diran Odeyemi, has revealed why the party should zone the position of the National Chairman to the South West. Naija News reports that the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is from Adamawa State in the North East region while his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa comes from Delta in the South-South region.
In a chat with The Punch, Odeyemi stated that the opposition party would need to zone to national chairmanship position to the South West in order to appease the people of the region and win their votes.
